What we collect
The types of items we collect range from unused sterile or clean surgical supplies, sutures, and instruments to examining tables, hospital scrubs, air conditioners, office equipment, and ambulances. There aren’t many items that we cannot find a home for in the many projects we support.
Please carefully review the list below of items we cannot collect:
- No Drugs/Medications
- No Liquids* (i.e. IVs, nutritional supplements)
*If the liquid goes into the body, we cannot accept it
InterVol does not collect any items that are, or appear to be, hazardous or dangerous items including:
- No Chemicals
- No Mercury
- No Solvents
Who we collect from
We can collect supplies and equipment from all units and departments within healthcare systems, as well as private practices and individuals.
How to donate supplies and equipment
The InterVol office is located at 100 Kings Highway South, Suite 1200, Rochester, NY 14617 [map] in the RGH Riedman Campus. Our open hours* to drop off materials are:
- Mondays 8:30am-4pm
- Thursdays 2pm-4pm
- Fridays 10am-12pm

to confirm whether we are open during these times, especially around holidays or in cases of extreme weather.
If you have a large donation that you cannot drop off, but instead need InterVol to pick up from you,
