Sorting collected items for recovery depends solely on the efforts of our donors and volunteers.
Materials arrive in the warehouse in collection
totes containing up to twenty separate items. Volunteers, often working
together as a family or a group, sort the supplies by type into marked
boxes. When one box is filled a volunteer will replace the box with an
empty one and log the filled box into our inventory system. The
inventory system matches materials with shipping requests.
Without your help, InterVol would not be able to
prepare the supplies for shipment. Millions of dollars of badly needed
medical supplies and equipment might be destroyed, instead of helping
those we serve.
Sorting parties are held at the InterVol warehouse
the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6-8pm. Please
