Rochester, NY VMP’s with patients outside our community.
Currently serving the Belize medical community through radiology,
ophthalmology, and specialty consult services.
- During the 2005 volunteer trip Virginia Tyler provided a
workshop on international grant writing to the Belizean Ministry of
Health and the Belize-Guatemala Border Commission. In a series of
group sessions and individual meetings, Ms. Tyler advised government
representatives in their efforts to reduce dengue, malaria and rabies
in Central America. She also provided insight on projects
involving the aging, those with AIDS, and literacy efforts.
