Do you accept....?
There are thousands and thousands of different types & brands of medical supplies & equipment out there. Chances are, we can accept your item, but please check out the Accepted Supplies page for rules of thumb, accepted supply categories, and more info about what we can accept. If you're still not sure, please call us at 585-922-5810.
Can you pick a donation up from my house?
Our Materials Coordinator drives around Rochester every day to pick up donations from the local hospitals & medical facilities. If you are within Monroe & surrounding counties, we can likely arrange for your items to be picked up. Please call our Materials Coordinator to request a pick-up at 585-922-5293.
Can you loan me a piece of equipment?
Unfortunately, InterVol does not have the resources to loan out the equipment that we collect. If you need to rent a piece of medical equipment, please contact your local volunteer firefighter's association, volunteer ambulance service, or Lion's Club to find a medical equipment loan closet close to you.
Can I buy medical supplies from InterVol?
If you are working with a registered 501(c)(3) organization you may arrange to purchase supplies from InterVol. We don't charge for the supplies themselves, but we do charge a small fee in order to cover the cost of handling. You can also come in and sort to receive "store credit" for any supplies you may need in the future. Please get in touch with our Community Coordinator at 585-922-5810 to learn more.
How do I apply to go on a medical brigade trip with InterVol?
Take a look at our Volunteer Medical Professionals page to fill out an application to attend a medical brigade trip with InterVol. When we are recruiting for an upcoming brigade, we will get in contact with you to determine if you will be a good addition to our team.
