Volunteer Spotlight: Michael LeClair

Our Father's Day Volunteer Spotlight continues with another dad who is especially dear to us: Michael LeClair. In truth, he's the reason we're pouring our hearts into our status as Charity Partners in the Marine Corps Marathon.

Mike is Marine who graduated from boot camp at Parris Island in 1968 before valiantly and courageously serving in the Vietnam War. While he is no longer actively serving in the Marine Corps, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine," and his pride and patriotism continues to be an inspiration to his daughter, InterVol's Director, Nicole Jones Senftleben. Nicole has run the Marine Corps Marathon for the past five years to honor her dad and all of the Marines, past and present, who put lives on the line everyday to keep our country, children, and families safe.

Beyond inspiring everyone at InterVol to continue our mission of improving the lives of those less fortunate, Mike supports us in every way possible, despite living out of state. He's our social media champion, liking, loving, and sharing our Facebook posts with anyone and everyone.

THANK YOU, MICHAEL! OORAH, SEMPER FI, and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
