A mother of three grown children, Lana has always been on the go: connecting, doing, learning, and loving. So when she retired from her job of 42 years as a secretary at Sansone Dental, she just couldn't sit still.
Cue in her dear friend for over 50 years, Ann Hafner, who had been volunteering at InterVol ever since the Haiti earthquake in January of 2010. Ann convinced Lana to try it out and come to a Sorting Party.
By the time the Sorting Party ended, Lana was hooked. With a medical background from her work in a dental office, she quickly expanded her knowledge of medical supplies and has become a core member of our team. And with a love a red wine, she even went further and gladly volunteered for the Raise a Glass Foundation's Great American International Wine Competition to benefit InterVol.
From the moment she started, Lana has brought her sunny smile and even sunnier personality to InterVol's volunteer events.
