5th Annual InterVol Invitational

The 5th Annual InterVol Invitational was held Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, New York. With 21 teams participating and a beautiful sunny day, it was the most successful tournament to date.

The teams included members from InterVol’s Board of Directors and community partners like Rochester Regional Health, LeChase Construction, Integrated Systems, Postler and Jackel, DGA Builders and Constellation Brands.

Golfers had opportunities on the course to play games like closest to the pin, longest drive and even try to Beat the Pro. Golfers teed up and tried to beat PGA Pro Doug Hannie, who has supported InterVol since 2014. Golfers also had the opportunity to win a new car from the Dick Ide Family of Dealers.

Other opportunities to donate directly to InterVol were available, as well as a silent auction which included a wide variety of gifts. There were several gift baskets filled with craft beer donated by the Raise a Glass Foundation, a MacKenzie Childs necklace and skin care products - there was something for everyone. The golf tournament helped raise more than $30,000 this year, which

will help ship at least three shipments or the equivalent of 1,800 boxes. To put it in perspective, last month InterVol shipped 600 boxes to Honduras, which filled a 40' cargo container.

Thank you to all the teams that came out to play, including Tom and Annie Kane's teams, which, for the last five years have contributed directly toward supporting InterVol's efforts in Haiti. We appreciate all the support and hope to see everyone next year. Congratulations to the winning team of Postler and Jackel pictured below, John Dineen, Beth Howard, Dan McGraw and Bill Hitchcock and on your fantastic round of golf. And a special thanks to everyone who has supported our efforts over the last 30 years. We would not be where we are today without the support from all our volunteers, we are so very grateful!
