InterVol's Newest Members

A lot has changed at InterVol in the last three months! We were very sad to see Linda go, but we know she's off to do great things. She will certainly be missed!

Trying their best to fill her shoes are myself, Brynn Matthews (right) and Rachel Coia (middle). While I work on keeping everyone up to date on InterVol through the website and social media, I am also working on writing grants to fund some of our amazing programs. I am also usually the one answering the phones, so if you have any questions, just give the office a call!

Rachel is working hard to keep our RUMS program running as smooth as ever. She has brought in a great deal of new volunteers and is getting to know some of our veteran sorters. By increasing the flexibility of our sorting and volunteering schedules, she has attracted volunteers and groups that previously couldn't come in due to schedule constraints.

We also have a new board member, Dan Meyers. Get to know Dan in his InterVol Bio:

Dan is a longtime supporter of InterVol thanks to his friendship with Dr. Ralph and Dr. Tim. He is an active volunteer with Rochester Regional Health where he currently serves as Chair of the Health Care Services Board overseeing Rochester General and Unity Hospitals and their affiliates. Dan is a founding member and Chair of the GRIPA Board. He is the President Emeritus of the Al Sigl Community of Agencies which he led for 29 years. Dan was Honorary Chair of Off the Vine in 2017, and his trip to Belize in March 2018 changed his life.
